Belfast Blues!

Tottered about town today. Amazing how many places have closed or are in the process of closing down, it is really quite sad. So many once thriving business now empty and boarded up. Derelict, crumbling buildings, scrawled with graffiti, they make super canvases but how long until they fall foul to the contractors demolition date.

The shops that are open, well many are filled only by sales staff. Every street had barriers, streets dug up revealing huge scars, pipe work like veins running under the city the unseen network. Smokers stand in huddles as people scurry past clinging onto their purchases, their purses or their laptops.

I disappear into my favourite place in Belfast to sit with a coffee and watch the world go by, Delaney's. Behind wooded slatted blinds you can sit and watch people come and go and become invisible to all or almost all. I think I was spotted by two girls walking past. :)

Feeling kinda sad at the minute, not sure why. I guess sometimes I just wonder what's it all for, what's there for me? Is this all my life is going to be, work, bills, housework? When do I get to have fun? Do I already have fun? *sigh*

One good thing from Friday the 13th, my transmitter turned up. I had left it at the studio when I was doing doing the last photo shoot! That was a relief I can tell you. :)
