Bad dreams and early mornings!

Grrr! I had a dream about the TV licence people calling, a man and a woman and having nothing to hide I let them in. After snooping about for a while and finding nothing other than a bit of aerial lead they were about to leave when I then noticed the creepy little man walking about recording images with a video camera. I freaked out, demanded that he show me the footage and erase it. He refused, I freaked out even more, knowing that my kids had been about the house so I threatened to call the police. He changed his tune and then produced the memory card and put it into a viewer to show me what he had taken and then erase it, I still freaked because I was convinced that he probably had a back up memory card in the camera and would still have the images. Woke with a bit of a jump and just couldn't get back to sleep. Oddly enough the house was my old family home and not here. Strange how your mind works.

I can't wait for them to actually call, I do enjoy making snotty offical people look like idiots!

Well we had a good little day down south visiting relatives, my Mums old homeplace. I love going back there, loads of happy childhood memories of the place although it has changed loads now. Took loads of photos mostly of cows. the girls and I walked up to the fort on the top of a hill, just a load of trees really but it was a nice day and a nice walk.

We were almost killed on the way home by an ambulance that was doing an over take on a bend, overtaking a artic truck, I heard the siren and a split second later from the back of the truck I spotted the ambulance, I just about got stopped and pulled into the kerb as he skimmed past my front wing, the truck was doing a right bit of braking also, I shudder to think what would have happened if we had been a second or so sooner. It was a crazy move on the part of the emergency vehicle. My father commended my quick reactions and the fact I got us out of it safely, now if you knew my Dad you would know he doesn't give compliments often especially not about someones driving so I was well chuffed at hearing him say that. I was even more chuffed that we were all still alive of course!
