Overdose!

You know you have been playing Runescape too long when someone in the real world talks to you and you look above them to see if the writing is straight or wiggly. Anyone who doesn't know what Runescape is DONT go there! It is a bit like the time I overdosed on Pacman when we had the Sega Megadrive. I played and played AND played it to death playing way into the wee small hours to the point where when I went to bed and closed my eyes all I could see were the little pac dots and hear the meep meep meep of the sound. Aghghghg!

I have had an odd kinda day, work took up a good part of my afternoon, nipped into Asda to pick up some stuff for dinner because I STILL DONT HAVE A FRIDGE! AGHGHGGHG! :) Rant over and I have nobody to blame but myself but I really can't wait to have my fridge back. I bumped into a couple of old friends, friends of my ex husband and with whom I keep up the obligatory Christmas card. They are lovely and always stop and have a chat, ask about my parents and the girls etc., it is just odd when you see someone from the past and haven't seen them for a while and you think oh my you have gotten older looking NOT that they look really old or anything but you know what I mean. It kinda makes you realise that if they are looking older then so are you. Last night three people on three separate occasions had a look of total shock to find out that I am L's Mum. One girl thought she had just brought a friend along to the gig and didn't for one minute think I could be old enough to have a daughter of 20. So yeah, it was a bit of an ego boost I guess but since I don't really feel like I am forty it was kinda wasted.

I ate Minstrels too soon to dinner time and oh boy did I feel stuffed!

A day of overdosing!

I kinda overdosed on the photos last night, I took 871 shots, took an absolute age to scoop off the CF card and my eyes have been square looking at them all. Lets just say most of my journey home with L driving is more like a movie than stills. :) I did get some interesting shots.
