Done for harassment!

Ohhhhhh wonder of wonders I got a reply to my letter about the accident! I was none too happy at first and I shall type it out to share with all...

Oh and first of all the envelope was addressed to Mr and Mrs Me! Then the Mr and the 'r' of Mrs was scored out in pen!

Dear Ms Me

If this is satisfactory please return by post the signed form completed in full including Ms L's address whereupon a cheque will be issued. If not thenRe accident 25 March 2009

As previously discussed I do not accept the extent of damage you are claiming occurred and the note from Caroline Owen of Towbars NI does not substantiate this.

However my wife, who recently lost her father, does not need this hassle currently and is willing as a good will gesture to pay you a fee of £150 in full and final settlement to stop you harassing her at this difficult time on the provision that both you and K L, the driver of the vehicle, sign a general release form as advised by the insurance company. we will have to let the insurance companies deal with the issues.

(the letter had a typed name at the bottom but he didn't sign it)

Now for the General Release form....

An accident occured on 25 March 2009 involving the cars of TS(me) the driver KL of Ms Me's car and JK.

Without admitting fault of any kind, the parties wish to settle and compromise all claims arising from this incident forever. JK hereby aggress (yeah crap spelling) to pay Trish Semple purely as a good will gesture the sum of £150 in acknowledgement that this sum constitutes complete compensation for all claims arising from said incident, whether known or unknown, and to include both vehicle damage and any personal injuries that might have been suffered in said incident.

This general release and payment made hereunder are intended as full and final settlement to bring closure to this matter and any further claims shall be forever barred.

Ha! Flipping HA!!!!!!
