Funny how it always happens like that.
Heard that one of my ex pupils and son of a friend of mine was involved in a really bad accident which left him in ICU for a few days, loads of stitches on his face, a hole in his cheek where metal punctured it and knocked a tooth out and a shattered thigh bone which is now pinned. Phew! Side impact, he was the passenger and is lucky to be alive!
On a happier note, his dad, my friend, just got engaged! :)
My day consisted of house work, work work, hospital, school run, shop, dinner, work and picking up dd1 from work!
*sigh*
